Bajarang Dal activists spoil V-Day celebrations
Hyderabad, Feb 14 (UNI) Bajrang Dal activists today ransacked the venue of Valentine Day celebrations at Shilparamam by damaging the furniture in protest against the display of 'anti-India' culture.
Police said the activists entered the premises where the lovers were participating in the celebrations, organised by private organisaions, and obstructed them. They damaged the furniture and burnt some material.
In another incident, ABVP activists interrupted the celebrations at Flytech Aviation Academy on the outskirts of the city where they had organised 'air trip' for the lovers.
In Tirupathi, the Sangh Parivar organisations and Swadeshi Jagaren Manch (SJM) damaged flowers at four piller centre.
Earlier, the activists, including BJP and ABVP held demonstrations in the main streets and took out a procession to four piller junction, where they damaged flowers and asked the youth to shun alien culture .
The also raided SV University campus and prevent3ed the lovers from celebrating the event.
