Hyderabad, Feb 13 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today deplored the attitude of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in the Assembly in stalling the proceedings, forcing Speaker K R Suresh Reddy to adjourn the House for the day.
Talking to the press after the House was adjourned for the day, Dr Reddy said it was wrong for the TRS members to waste the precious time of the House by obstructing the proceedings on a particular issue.
The TRS members moved an adjournment motion, demanding the government to pass a resolution on separate Telangana, which was disallowed by the Speaker.
The Chief Minister said the Congress High Command was already seized of the issue and partymen from the state had placed the matter before AICC President Sonia Gandhi.
He said the party would take a decision on Telangana at the appropriate time.
