Mahesh Yogi's ashes immersed in Ganga
Varanasi, Feb 13 (UNI) The ashes of Mahesh Narayan Srivastava, popularly known as Maharshi Mahesh Yogi, were immersed in the river Ganga amidst chanting of vedic hymns here today.
A large number of disciples from across the country and abroad were present to say final adieu to Maharishi Yogi, who made transcendental meditation a global rage.
The urn containing the ashes was brought to the Assi Ghat this afternoon from Allahabad by Yogi's nephew Anand Srivastav and other relatives.
Thereafter, it was taken to Kedar Ghat for immersion.
