Bengal: Customs sleuths seize deer skins
Siliguri, Feb 13: Customs sleuths seized deer skins, and a horn from a bag near the Indo-Nepal border.
Customs officer of Naxalbari region Subhashis Pal said yesterday that acting on specific information they laid a trap at Panitanki to catch poachers. But on arrival there, they found an abandoned bag in which the skins of deer, two adult and of a cub, and other residue including a horn were there.
No one was arrested in this connection.
