Bimalkhed records heavy rainfall of 10 cm
Bangalore, Feb 13 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.
Rainfall occurred at many places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior.
Bimalkhed (Bidar dt) recorded heavy rainfall of 10 cm.
Other chief rainfall amounts (cm): Bidar, Chikmagalur 5 each, Kottigehara, Sakleshpura 4 each, Bhalki, Kamalapur, Koppa Kadur, Belur, Sravanabelgola, Hassan 3 each, Sringeri, Alur, Kurugodu, Srirampura, Gubbi, Tumkur 2 each.
Minimum temperatures rose at many places being appreciably so at a few places over North Interior Karnataka, however fell at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka. They were above normal at most places over Coastal Karnataka, appreciably above normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and above normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka.
Belgaum AP recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 17.2 Degree Celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Friday mornin: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all districts of South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.
