Temperature rises to 5.5 degree Celsius in Delhi
New Delhi, Feb 12: The cold wave sweeping Delhi for over a week slightly abated today with the mercury rising to 5.5 degrees Celsius.
The decrease in the intensity of the cold Northwesterly winds led to a rise in minimum temperature, from 3.8 degrees Celsius yesterday to 5.5 degrees Celsius. Though the minimum of 5.5 degrees Celsius still remained five degrees below normal, weatherman said the cold wave sweeping the capital was over. The Met office had forecast a mainly clear sky in the city during the next 24 hours.They have forecast a minimum temperature of five degrees Celsius tomorrow.
