Mulayam demands high level probe in kidney racket
Lucknow, Feb 12 (UNI) Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today demanded a high level probe into the kidney racket case.
Talking to reporters here outside the Assembly, Mr Yadav said the issue was very serious and only a high level probe could unearth the guilty people responsible for the racket operating for the last two years.
He also reiterated that some top officials, including the DGP, should be removed immediately for ''impartial probe'' into the racket.
Mr Yadav, the leader of the opposition in the Assembly, criticised the Mayawati government for the ''deteriorating law and order situation in the state''.
''The government machinery has failed to control the crime and now Opposition political party leaders were being targeted,'' he alleged.
