Abu Dhabi resident becomes millionaire overnight

Dubai, Feb 12 (UNI) A Filipino technician became a millionaire overnight, when he won Abu Dhabi Duty Free's Big Ticket raffle draw.

Victor Cabote Arogar from the Philippines, 33, a resident of Abu Dhabi for the last seven years, bought his lucky ticket at Abu Dhabi International Airport before leaving on vacation last month.

''I am very thankful and happy for the draw's result. I really could not believe it at first when I received the call telling me I was the grand prize winner,'' Mr Arogar told Gulf News.

The technician is married and has a daughter on whose education he intends to invest the winnings.
