New Delhi, Feb 11 (UNI) Admitting that his relation with former doubles partner Leander Paes is far from rosy, Indian tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi today said their differences did not adversely affect their performance.
''... It is unfortunate that there are too many issues which obviously we don't see eye to eye on and you know at the end of the day as long as we can put our best put forward playing for India that is what everybody cares for,'' Bhupathi told NDTV.
The doubles pair of Bhupathi and Paes, popular as 'The Indian Express' in their initial days, had split due to difference of opinion on various issues.
''It is a mixture of things, small things, large things which snowballed into the fact that is the place where we are today,'' Bhupathi said.
Bhupathi and Paes will pair up again for the Beijing Olympic Games later this year.
