Maharashtra: Security at BSE tightened due to terror threat

Mumbai, Feb 11: Security at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has been tightened after arrested Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants said they were planning to target the stock market headquarters.

An Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) is on its way to Uttar Pradesh to further interrogate the militants on the matter. According to an ATS official, the team is going to verify the information about the threat from them. Six suspected LeT militants were arrested by the UP Special Task Force (STF) on Sunday. Three of them were to carry out attacks in Mumbai.
