New Delhi, Feb 11: As part of its overall growth plans, Hinduja Group today said it is expanding and repositioning the UK-based LRLIH Ltd, its holding Company, and Ennore Foundries Ltd, by re-naming it as Hinduja Automotive Ltd to enable organic and inorganic growth.
The company in a statement said the new company will be the exclusive platform of strategic ownership and related businesses of the Group in the automotive sector. ''It will expand its present interest in commercial vehicles and foundries to a wider range of products and services such as components (including iron and aluminium foundry products), construction equipment, technology and other adjacent area,'' the statement said.
Mr Gopichand P Hinduja will continue as Chairman and Mr Dheeraj G Hinduja as Co-Chairman of Hinduja Automotive Ltd. While continuing as Managing Director and CEO of Ashok Leyland Ltd, Mr R Seshasayee will be appointed as Vice-Chairman of Hinduja Automotive Ltd.
In this capacity, he will be responsible for strategising and developing the Group's vision for global growth of the automotive business.
Mr Anders Spare, who is currently the Chief Executive Officer of LRLIH, UK, will continue as CEO of Hinduja Automotive Ltd.
