TQs to set up 200 stores by year-end
New Delhi, Feb 10 (UNI) Leading men's wear brand tQs, plans to set up 200 exclusive showroom across the country by the end of the calendar year even as it looks to diversify into women's wear next year.
''We will set an additional 200 stores by the end of the year pan-India,'' said company Director Sunil Jindal.
The company will also make its entry into women's wear next year. ''We will bring out our women's wear range next winter,'' Mr Jindal told UNI.
The firm's strategy is 'to be for the masses'. ''We provide internationally styled garments at affordable prices making us a brand for everyone,'' said Mr Jindal.
tQs currently has 100 stores spead across north and western parts of the country. ''We now want to enter the south and east Indian markets as there is huge potential in these parts,'' Mr Jindal added.
The company, however, did not divulge any investments. Mr Jindal said the required funds will be raised through internal accruals and debt.
tQs expects to close the year with a turnover of Rs 100 crore.
''Going by the growth rate, we will touch Rs 200 crore by March 2009,'' said Mr Jindal.
The firm will also invest Rs 10 crore for its marketing and advertising initiatives.
The company has roped in Jimmy Sheirgill as its brand ambassador.
