Pak PM wants more trade routes to India

{image-M soomro_10022008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Lahore, Feb 10 : Caretaker Prime Minister Muhammadmian Soomro has said that there is a need for opening more trade routes with India to facilitate the export of cement and other products.

Speaking at the inauguration of Passenger Facilitation Centre, Wagah (Rail and Road) on Saturday, Soomro described the opening of the centre as a landmark step to improve trade between the two countries."Such facilities will improve trade and cut cost of business between the two countries," The News quoted Soomro, as saying. He also underlined the need to promote people-to-people contacts to strengthen peace and stability in South Asia. The Governor of Punjab Lt. Gen. (retired) Khalid Maqbool and other officials were also present on the occasion.
