Washington, Feb 10 : American actress Lindsay Lohan finds herself to be the "ideal" candidate for the lead role of Alice, in Tim Burton's 'Alice In Wonderland'.
The troubled actress is said to be desperate to work with the acclaimed director on his big screen adaptation, and wants the sought-after part of Alice in the Lewis Carroll classic in a bid to revive her flagging career.
The Mean Girls star is hoping that her public enthusiasm for the role will persuade movie maverick Burton to recruit her.
"I hope they don't give it to an unknown. I'm ideal. I could really do it justice. I've been down the role," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
The 21-year-old's career has been crashing down ever since she returned from rehab last year (07), following two DUI incidents, which landed er in jail for a brief period of time.
