Janata Dal (U) protests black marketing of LPG
New Delhi, Feb 10 (UNI) A protest march against the black marketing of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) was organised by the Delhi unit of the Janta Dal (U) Kisan Sabha here today that proceeded from Kalighat chowk (Karawal Nagar) to Bhajan Pura chowk.
The procession, led by Gauri Shankar Sharma, president of JD(U) Kisan Sabha, also burnt in effigy Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Murli Deora.
''The duty of the government is to supply LPG cylinders well in time, failing which, there is lot of resentment among the people,'' Mr Sharma said.
He also demanded removal of L-G Tejender Khanna on his remarks against the North Indians as according to him, any person with constitutional post should not utter such irresponsible remarks.
