Chandigarh, Feb 10 (UNI) Haryana Government has decided to develop the cultural centre at Nabha House in New Delhi into a world class complex to house cultural centre-cum-convention centre, art gallery, auditorium and exhibition hall.
A spokesman of Haryana Architecture Department said that the Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda had desired that it should be aesthetically and functionally perfect building at the centrally located site which measures 2.85 acres.
The site located in the heart of Delhi between Sikandera Road and College Road falls in the cultural and information centre land use of master plan of Delhi.
He said that the Department had invited expression of interest from architects of national repute. Six prominent architects have submitted their proposals in this regard and have made their power point presentations, supplemented with models and drawings to the committee.
The final decision would be taken by the Government shortly, he added.
