AICC Manifesto Panel Meet Feb 11 in Pondy

Puducherry, Feb 10 (UNI) The first meeting of the Manifesto Implementation Committee constituted by the AICC under the Chairmanship of General Secretary V Arun Kumar will meet here tomorrow.

Chief Minister N Rangasamy,his Cabinet colleagues, PCC President P Shanmugham and AICC General Secretary Mr V Narayanasamy are expected to take part in the meeting to be held at Kalapet near here.

The meeting which would deliberate on manifesto implementation was also expected to take steps to sort out the problems in the Cabinet.

Five Ministers had raised a banner of revolt against Mr Rangasamy isolating him on several issues.

Mr Narayanasamy had also given him a tough time recently by seeking details of government jobs given to those from the Chief Minister's Thattanchavady Constituency since Mr Rangasamy assumed the post and also the quantum of money spent in his constituency towards welfare schemes.
