Chennai, Feb 9: Refusing to attach any political significance to his visit to New Delhi, TNCC President M Krishnasamy today said his visit was a routine one.
''There is nothing significant about it. It's a routine trip,'' he told reporters on his arrival at the airport here. He said he went to the national capital to hold discussions with AICC observer in charge of Tamil Nadu Arunkumar about next month's Congress Zonal Conference. ''I am going to Delhi every month,'' he added.
However, political circles were agog with rumours that Mr Krishnasamy's visit had political significance in the wake of reports that he might be removed from the post of TNCC chief.
