Raymonds plans to double its retail network
Bangalore, Feb 9 (UNI) India's leading textile and apparel major 'Raymonds' is planning to strengthen its retail presence in Karnataka by doubling its retail network from the present 27 in next two years.
Talking to newspersons here today, Company (Retail) President Aniruddha Deshmukh said the new shops would target consumers in tier four and tier five cities, offering a wide choice of Raymond brands.
Currently Raymond had more than 430 stores in India, Middle East, and South Asia.
By 2010, the Company would have a network of 950 stores in the country and 20 in overseas, he added.
To a question, he said nearly 80 per cent of the shops would be given on franchise. These shops would offer a complete wardrobe solutions to customers with a fine range of fabric and ready to wear collections.
