Mumbai, Feb 9 (UNI) Uttar Bharatiya Vikas Parishad (UBVP) President Mangleshwar, alias Munna Tripathi, and six other members were released on personal bond, after calling of their hunger strike, here.
Mr Tripathi, began his indefinite hunger strike on February 6 at Azad Maidan, demanding the arrest of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray for giving inflammatory speech and the assault of North Indians by his party workers on last Sunday, police said.
Mr Tripathi refused to discontinue his hunger strike here yesterday and was arrested along with six other members for unlawful assembly.
They were released after filling a personal bond of Rs 3000 each here, late last night, sources said.
