Bhopal, Feb 9 (UNI) As many as 98 lakh children up to five years of age would be administered pulse polio drops in Madhya Pradesh tomorrow.
According to an official release issued here today, one crore 42 vaccine dozes had been sent to districts. Adequate arrangements of cold chain had been made to keep the polio dozes intact.
After administering polio doze at polio booths tomorrow, remaining children would be given dozes at their houses February 11 and 12.
No new polio case has been found in Madhya Pradesh during last year.
In all, 65,711 polio vaccination booths had been set up in districts. Besides, 2433 transit booths and 1,822 mobile teams had also been deployed. As many as 10,147 supervisors and 1,64,854 employees had been posted.

Arrangements have been made to administer polio dozes by mobile teams to children of families living in under-construction urban colonies, semi-urban areas, brick kilns, stone quarries, premises of small and big industrial units and remote forest areas. Transit booths would be constituted to administer polio dozes to children at bus stands, railway stations, crowded markets and Mela areas, the release added.
