This morning during the intensive combing operation in the area, all the six naxalites were arrested and the SOG receovered from them six detonators, 21 gelatin sticks, some wire and two banners against the Naveen Patnaik government.

Mr Gojbhiye said while one of the arrested naxalites was an assistant teacher engaged in writing leaflets and literature, the other one identified as Dr Srijaya Dafadar was a quack, who had even treated Naxalite leader Ashok, injured in exchange of fire on January 29 last.

The so called doctor, the SP said, used to visit Motu thrice in a week to attend the meetings arranged by the teacher with the cadre naxalites.
