Norwegian PM meets Koirala and party leaders
Kathmandu, Feb 8 (UNI) Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, has urged Nepal's political parties to resolve an acceptable solution to the Terai crisis.
In a press conference organised at the VVIP lounge of Tribhuwan international Airport prior to his departure today, he said the elected Constituent Assembly would be a strong platform for Nepal to address future challenges including setting up of a more inclusive system of governance.
He added that Norway will continue with its bilateral cooperation with Nepal.
The Norwegian PM, who held meetings with PM Girija Prasad Koirala and senior leaders of the CPN, UML and Maoists, said that the peace process will achieve the determined goal under PM Koirala's leadership".
The two leaders discussed the Nepal's peace process, issues of global warming and the Norwegian cooperation with Nepal.
The Norwegian PM also met UML General Secretary Madhav Kumar and CPN-Maoist Chairman Prachanda at Dwarika Hotel in the capital.
