He was banned after he arrived Jinnah International Airport in Karachi along with opposition's All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM) Convener Mahud Khan Achakzai last evening.

''Imran Khan along with other APDM leaders is not allowed to enter the province for ten days,'' said Akhtar Ali Zamin, the Caretaker Sindh Home Minister. ''Till the upcoming elections, scheduled to be held on February 18, neither the APDM central leaders are allowed to enter in the province nor they would be allowed to run their political campaign in the Sindh, said Home Minister Akhtar Zamin.

He said the provincial government has decided to impose ban on the entry of the APDM component parties' leaders in the Sindh for security concerns in the province before the polling.
