Jhabua, MP, Feb 8 (UNI) Bhartiya Janata Party Vice-President Vikram Verma, Indore's BJP MP and former union minister Sumitra Mahajan were notable absentees in Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's programme here today.
Dr Singh laid the foundation stone for two railway projects -- the 200-km Dahod-Indore via Jhabua line would cost Rs 678 crore, while the 152-km ChhotaUdepur-Dhar line was expected to cost Rs 608 crore.
Ms Mahajan earlier ''alerted'' the premier that the Dahod-Indore stretch already has a train plying on it! The Dahod-Indore stretch includes Sardarpur, Jhabua and Dhar stations.
