Agra-Khajuraho rail service in offing
Agra, Feb 8: To boost tourism, the Indian Railways is set to commence a new rail service between Taj city, Agra and Khajuraho soon.
The new route would make commutation easy to both international and national tourists, Northern Central Railway (NCR) General Manager Vivek Sahai told reporters here.
The rail service would connect the Taj city to temple town Varanasi and Khajuraho, he informed.
Meanwhile, the much awaited Mahoba-Khajuraho rail service is set to commence from February 15.
Railways Minister Lalu Prasad would show green signal to the first passenger train on the new route, which would connect the impoverished region to big cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata.
