India to further agriculture activities with SA
New Delhi, Feb 7 (UNI) India and South Africa will enhance cooperation in poultry, fisheries, agriculture extension, land and water management, a Cabinet decision today said.
The Cabinet gave its approval for signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between India and South Africa on agricultural cooperation between India and South Africa.
The MoU which will be valid for five years will promote further bilateral cooperation through joint activities and exchanges in the areas of agriculture including animals, fisheries, poultry, agricultural extension, land and water management and its conservation, promotion of agricultural trade and investment, agricultural biodiversity management and conservation etc through exchange of scientific delegations and experts between the two countries, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi said.
