Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance receives ISO 27001:2005 certification
Mumbai, Feb 7 (UNI) Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance has received the coveted ISO 27001:2005 security certification based on its compliance with the new standards for data and information security.
This certification has been awarded to IT Systems and Infrastructure situated at the Pune Head Office, a press release here today said.
The requirements of the certification were audited by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), an independent international provider of services for managing risk, certification and registration.
The ISO 27001 is the highest certification available from ISO, (adopted from the BS 7799 standards of BSI) and is awarded for effective e-security and physical security measures, the release added.
