1119-km-long road constructed along Indo-Nepal border
Patna, Feb 7 (UNI) A 1119-km-long stretch of concrete road has been constructed along the Indo-Nepal border the under Border Area Development programme(BADP), official sources said here today.
A total length of 2,526 km roads, bridges and culverts was to be constructed and work for construction of new roads under the BADP was on in 25 identified bocks of Bihar, the sources said.
In these blocks, construction works of 52.45-km-long roads had already been completed, the sources added.
Besides BADP, 1933.43-km-long roads had been constructed in rural areas under separate programme while works on another 500-km-long stretch of roads were under progress.
They said similary, 1846 small and big bridges and culverts had been constructed under the Mukhya Mantri Setu Nirman Yojna.
