Six ULFA militants arrested in Meghalaya
Guwahati, Feb 6 (UNI) Six ULFA cadres were arrested today in Garo Hills of Meghalaya, three km inside the state from the Assam border, by a joint team of Meghalaya police and the Army.
Army sources here informed that the arrested militants were travelling towards Assam from the Garo Hills, bordering Goalpara district of the state.
They were held at a place called Depa, three km inside the Meghalaya border.
Arms and ammunition were also seized from them.
Details were awaited.
