Rs 7 lakhs grenades recovered from a hideout in Kashmir
Srinagar, Feb 6 (UNI) Security forces today busted a hideout and recovered more than Rs 7 lakh and hand grenades in north Kashmir, official sources said.
They said police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) conducted a search operation at Bandipora in north Kashmir following a tip-off that militants had stored arms and ammunition there.
During the operation a hideout was busted in the house of one Peer Sharief Uddin and two hand grenades and Rs 7,03950 were recovered.
A case has been registered against the house owner, they added.
