Jamshedpur, Feb 06 (UNI) Four Union and several Jharkhand Ministers would take part in the 85th meeting of general council of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) to be held on February nine and ten at J R D Tata sports complex here.
The meeting would be preceded by the 269th meeting of INTUC working committee on February eight.
Both meetings would be hosted by the Tata Workers Union (TWU).
Informing this, TWU president Raghunath Pandey told media persons here today that Union Minister for Commerce and Industries Kamal Nath would inaugurate the meeting to be held for the first time here.
He said Union Minister for Labour and Employment Oscar Fernandes, Union Minister of Energy Sushil Kumar Shinde and Minister of State for Steel Akhilesh Das would also speak on the occasion.
Jharkhand Deputy Chief Minister Sudhir Mahto, Land Reforms and Cooperative Minister Dulal Bhuiyan and Health Minister Bhanu Pratap Sahi had sent their consent to take part in the meeting, Mr Pandey said.
He said apart from the Ministers, INTUC national president and General Secretary G.Sanjeeva Reddy and Rajendra Prasad Singh respectively and Tata Steel Managing Director M Muthuraman would deliver speeches.
He said about 1000 delegates would take part in the three-day progamme.
