M Chandrasekharan appointed Additional Solicitor General of India
New Delhi, Feb 6 : The Union Government has appointed senior advocate M Chandrasekharan, as Additional Solicitor General of India in the Supreme Court with immediate effect for a period of two years.
Chandrasekharan has been in legal practice in India since 1962. He was appointed as Senior Counsel for Central Government in the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court in 1985.
He was Additional Solicitor General of India from December 1990-May 1991 and July 1994-May 1996.
