Ranchi, Feb 5 (UNI) Sounding the bugle of change in the state, the Jharkhand Vikash Morcha (Democratic) is all set hold its much-hyped "Parivartan Rally" at the historic Morabadi ground here tomorrow in presence of key leaders of the United Democratic Progresive Alliance.

Addressing a news conference here today, JVM (D) president and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi said the rally was not aimed at attacking any individual or political party but at opening public eyes towards core issues dogging Jharkhand.

Mr Marandi said UNPA president Mulayam Singh Yadav, convener Farooq Abdullah, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu, former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala, Asom Gana Parishad president Brindaban Goswami and Mr Amar Singh were expected to attend the rally.

He, however, made it clear the rally was solely a JVM affair and the UNPA leaders were invited to grace the occasion.

Mr Marandi said his party was fighting to eradicate ''bhookh, bhai aur bhrastachar'' and hoped tomorrow's rally would open a new vista for the state.

Asked to comment on the Congress' threat to the UPA-backed Madhu Koda government on the issue of ''development and corruption'', he came down heavily saying the Congress' hypocricy became known when it allowed the state to be ruled by Independent MLAs for more than 16 months.

He said the present Council of Ministers, led by Mr Koda, included nine Independent Legislators, adding how a responsible national political party could allow them, who did not get mandate on particular commitment to rule the state.

'' The Congress' cry over the issue at the moment was crocodile's tears as they woke up after the people started raising voice over the efficiency of the government, '' he said.

The former BJP leader did not spare his parent organisation either, saying when he was the Chief Minister of the state he had given certain feedback to the BJP central leadership which fell on deaf ears.

'' If the BJP at that time had listened my advice as I never compromise with issues, the party would not have faced such pathetic situation now they are faciong here, '' he said.
