MSU students protest against Patan gangrape
Vadodara, Feb 5 (UNI) The heinous gangrape of a teenaged Primary Teacher's Training College student in Patan found its echo in the M S University here today, with its students vociferously protesting against the incident.
The agitated students shouting slogans against the teachers, who were allegedly involved in the gangrape, took to the streets and burnt their effigies as police kept a close vigil on the tense situation.
The students, comprising both boys and girls from Arts, Home Science and other faculties, later marched in a procession through the main thoroughfares of the city before handing over a memorandum to the Collector demanding stern action against the culprits.
