Macca, Mills to thrash it out in court
London, February 5 : Sir Paul McCartney's bid for an out-of-court divorce settlement with Heather Mills has reportedly failed.
The hearing of their case will now take place next week in the High Court.
It is believed that Mills was demanding 50-million dollars from McCartney's 825-million-dollar fortune, but the later was ready to pay up to 25-million dollars.
Sources have hinted that Mills may grill the former 'Beatle' star over the same issues she had raised before the court earlier.
She alleges that McCartney used to behave abusively and violently with her after drink and drug binges.
The singer, on the other hand, has vowed to disprove Mills' allegations, and keep his fortune.
"This is it - it's not going to be pretty," the Mirror quoted a source as saying.
The closed hearing in London will also deal with custody and financial arrangements for the estranged couple's four-year-old daughter Beatrice.
