Chandigarh, Feb 5 (UNI) An Empowered Committee has been set up by Chandigarh Administration to deal with all issues relating to the development of IT Habitat at Rajiv Gandhi Chandigarh Technology Park (RGCTP).
Chandigarh Housing Board is developing residential, commercial and related infrastructural facilities as an integrated project on 123.79 acres of land in collaboration with a leading private builder.
The UT Finance Secretary Sanjay Kumar will be the Chairman of the committee and Chief Executive Officer, Chandigarh Housing Board Amar Nath would its Member Convener.
Chairman Chandigarh Housing Board Mohanjeet Singh, Deputy Commissioner R.K. Rao, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chief Engineer, Chief Architect and Chief Fire Officer have been included in the committee as members.
To ensure the smooth and timely completion of the project, the Empowered Committee will continuously monitor the progress of the project and resolve the inter-departmental issues as well as remove other hindrances to its implementation.
