Ownership rights to 'Pattedars' resolved in Haryana: Hooda
Pehowa, Feb 4 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said that his government had succeded in resolving the long pending issue of ownership rights to 'Pattedars'.
"The efforts made by Agriculture Minister Harmohinder Singh Chatha have enabled the 'Pattedars' to get ownership rights of the land and a decision has been taken to give them land on lease for 99 years," Mr Hooda said while addressing a public meeting after laying the foundation stone of Saint Mohan Singh Dental College and Research Institute to be constructed at a cost of Rs 50 crore at Pehowa in Kurukshetra district.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Hooda said that with the setting up of this dental college, which would have intake capacity of 100 and a hospital of 500 beds, the people in the state would get modern facilities for dental care. He assured all help for the institute and announce to donate Rs 11 lakh for the institute.
