'Narasimha radham' fest concludes in Visakhapatnam
Tirupati, Feb 4 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman B Karunakara Reddy today presented the traditional'vastrams' (silk cloth) to Lord Narasimha Swamy on the occasion of the arrival of 'Narasimha radham' in the temple town of Simhachalam in Visakhapatnam district.
The TTD, in a release here, said the chariot, which reached Simhachalam, the abode of Lord Narasimha Swamy, had set out from 'Alipiri' the foot of Tirumala hills here on December 20-- the 'Vaikunta Ekadasi' day-- and covered eight districts before reaching the final destination.
On the occasion, 'Srinivasa Kalyanam' was conducted, admist recital of Vedas in the temple premises.
Union Minister T Subbirami Reddy, state minister Kontala Ramakrishna and TTD Trust Board Member Indira Reddy were among those, who were present on the occasion, the release added.
