Mumbai BJP criticises MNS, SP for their act
Mumbai, Feb 4 (UNI) Criticising the activists of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and Samajwadi Party (SP), city BJP unit today said their political fight, leading to violence, had disturbed the peace in the metropolis.
A BJP release said both the parties want cheap publicity for the upcoming elections. Their statements had disturbed the peace in the city.
If any untoward incident takes place, then the SP, MNS and the state government, who has been a mute spectator, will be held responsible for it, the release added.
Earlier, SP had claimed that it would distribute 'lathis' to its activists, while MNS had retaliated by saying that they would distribute swords to their activists.
