HPCA names 20 probables for Ranji season

Dharamshala, Feb 4 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) has named 20 probables who will represent the state in the next edition of the Ranji trophy.

In a meeting held here yesterday, the selection committee named 20 probables, including three new faces, of which eight were batsman, nine bowlers and three wicketkeepers, association general secretary Gautam Thakur said.

Rishi Dhawan, Ravikant and Sumit Verma were the new faces in the team, which also included Hemant Dogra, Manish Gupta, Sandeep Sharma, Paras Dogra, M Bisla, Ajay Manu, Mukesh Sharma, Sangram Singh, Ashok Thakur, Vikramjit Malik, Jitender Mehta, Abhishek Sharma, Varun Mishra, Vishal Bhatia, Sarandeep Singh, Ankit Aggarwal and Kuldeep Diwan.

Mr Thakur said Anuj Pal has been named the team's coach for the next domestic season.
