Chennai, Feb 4 (UNI) Thanks to a five-wicket haul by medium pacer R Jesuraj, Chennai Superstars humbled Mumbai Champs by 83 runs in the ICL 50's cricket tournament here today.
Batting first, Chennai rattled up 280 for 8 in 50 overs with Hemanth Kumar top scoring with 71.
V Devendran (52), S Vasanth Saravanan (52) chipped in with quickfire half centuries.
In reply, Mumbai were never in the hunt as Jesuraj ran through the batting order. The visitors were bowled out for 197 in 45.5 overs, with Ranjeet Khirid top scoring with 35.
Jesuaj was adjudged the man of the match.
