Auditorium in Kishore's memory is now a buffalo shed: Amit
Indore, Feb 4 (UNI) Expressing concern over the condition of the Gauri Kunj Auditorium built in immortal playback singer Kishore Kumar's memory at his birthplace Khandwa, the legend's singer son Amit Kumar today alleged that the auditorium had become a buffalo shed.
''The government is guilty for the state of affairs. Attention should be paid to the auditorium. Should my family alone care for it? The government and public can also pitch in for maintenance,'' he said. Kumar was here in connection with a programme.
Pointing out that Congress leader and singer Vitthal Bhai Patel collected funds from people to improve the auditorium's condition, he added that more such attempts could be made to link the public.
Singer Bappi Lahiri, who accompanied Kumar, assured that he would endeavour to improve the auditorium's condition.
