New Delhi, Feb 3 (UNI) National Conference (NC) president and Member of Parliament Omar Abdullah today left here for Japan as the head of a delegation of Indian parliamentarians.
During its two-week visit, the delegation will interact with Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda, Commerce and Industries Ministers besides the former premier and other political leaders.
The delegation would also meet the captains of various industries, economists and prominent multi-national industrial houses in Japan, said a release by the NC.
The members of the delegation will visit the state-of-the-art modern facilities of different world-renowned Japanese companies.
The visit of the Indian parliamentarians was aimed at improving the Indo-Japanese economic ties besides strengthening relations in the fields of trade, commerce and technology transfer.
