Hindu bodies demand tight security for Udupi temple
Udupi, Feb 3 (UNI) In the wake of terrorist threat to Sri Krishna temple here, various Hindu organisations today demanded banning of vehicular traffic near the temple.
Addressing a joint press conference, leaders of Bajrang Dal, Rama Sena and Vishwa Hindu Parishat (VHP) said the vehicular traffic near the temple would give easy access to the terrorists to launch an attack.
They also demanded that illegal traders should be evacuated from the vicinity of the temple.
The district administration should impose strict security measures to protect the temple premises, they added.
