Kathmandu, Feb 3: A college campus in Nuwakot district in north west part of the city has asked the local police to initiate a public offence case against ten Maoists students over vandalism inside its premises this morning.

The All Nepal National Free Students' Union-Revolutionary (ANNFSU-R) students torched the examination department of Aadarsha Multiple Campus after students affiliated to the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML unlocked the campus as requested by the college administration for today's internal examinations, Kantipur said.

''All important documents including filled out application forms for exams, those concerning admission and a set of computers were destroyed in the fire,'' it said.

Despite the call by the Maoists leadership to mend their behaviour, Maoists youths have been criticised for involving in such activities.
