Syndicate Bank revises NRE interests

Bangalore, Feb 2: Syndicate Bank has revised the rate of interest on Non-Residential External (NRE) Term Deposits and FCNR(B) deposits with effect from February one.

Interest rates on NRE deposits for a period of one year to less than two years have been revised to 2.85 per cent, two years to less than three years to 2.84 per cent and for three to five years to 3.08 per cent, a bank press release said. In case of FCNR(B) deposits, the interest rate for USD deposits for tenure of one year to less than two years is 2.10 per cent, for two years to less than three years is 2.09 per cent, for 3 years to less than four years is 2.33 per cent, for four years to less than five years is 2.57 per cent and for five years it is 2.78 per cent.

The rate of interest for the tenure one year and one day on GBP deposits is 4.61 percent, on Euro deposits is 3.57 per cent, on CAD deposits is 3.05 per cent and on AUD deposits is 6.93 per cent the release added.
