Precious metals decline heavily on poor buying support

Mumbai, Feb 2: Both the precious metals declined heavily today on poor buying support, with silver easing by Rs 195 per kg and gold by Rs 305 per ten gm in the closing session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said. Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 21,105 (21,300) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 11,585 (11,890) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 11,635 (11,940).
