Davanagere, Feb 2 (UNI) The Police custody of the two suspected terrorists Riyazuddin alias Mohammad Ghouse and Asadulla Abubakar, arrested at Honnali in the district recently, was extended by one more week by the Honnali magisterial court here today.

The Magistrate, before whom they were produced today, granted the police request to extend their custody for further investigations into possible disruptive activities.

However, the Court refused to give body warrant to Police from Hyderabad and Central Crime Branch, they sought in connection with Cinema hall bomb blast and killing of a scientists in Indian Institute of Science (IIS) in Bangalore, respectively.

Police will soon take a decision about subjecting the two suspected terrorists to narco analysis tests in Baganlore to extract more information about their activities.

According to police sources, police from Karnataka, Hyderabad, Gujarat and Goa, interrogated the two, during which Riyazuddin confessed that he was trained in Pakistan to carry out terror activities in India.

The two suspects were arrested by Honnali police when they were moving around the town on a motorcycle they had stolen in Goa and painted on it a slogan 'Crazy to Kill', attracting the attention of the public before the police arrested them.

Before being arrested by the police, the duo had also reportedly travelled to many other towns and cities in coastal Karantaka looking for gullible boys who could be recruited for conducting disruptive activities across the country.
