Kyrgyzstan Foreign Minister to visit India from Feb 4-6
{image-FM kzstan_02022008.jpg news.oneindia.in}New Delhi, Feb 2: India and the Central Asian Republic of Kyrgyzstan will hold discussions here on Monday for strengthening economic and trade ties and forging closer cooperation against terrorism. Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Minister, Ednan Karabaev, who arrives here on Monday early morning on a three-day visit, will hold talks with External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee on various bilateral matters and regional and global issues. The two Ministers will also be joined by their respective delegations.
The
two
countries
will
sign
several
agreements.
Mr
Karabaev
will
meet
Human
Resource
Development
(HRD)
Minister
Arjun
Singh
in
the
evening.
He
will
also
give
a
lecture
on
'Kyrgyzstan
in
Central
Asian
Dynamics'
at
the
Indian
Council
of
World
Affairs
(ICWA).
On
Feb
4,
the
Minister
will
attend
a
luncheon
meeting
with
representatives
of
Indian
industry
to
invite
Indian
investment
in
the
former
Soviet
Republic.
He
will
also
have
separate
meetings
with
Tourism
Minister
Ambika
Soni
and
Commerce
and
Industry
Minister
Kamal
Nath.
